Following the big success of the first two editions, this year Summer School EMERGE doubles. A first module – Module 1, from 8th to 12th September 2025, which maintains the original formula with seminars, lectures, automotive factory visits and cultural experience. A second module – Module 2, from 15th to 19th September 2025, for practicing with useful software for the design and control of electrical machines and power electronics.

The Summer School Module 1 includes:

1. 5 days event
2. Seminars and lectures
3. PhD poster session
4. Social dinner (Day 3)
5. Best Poster presentation award (Day 3 during social dinner)
6. Company visit and cultural excursion (Day 4)
7. Welcome cocktail (Day 1)
8. Lunches and coffee breaks
9. digital proceedings
10. final test for the recognition of training credits – 6 ECTS

The Summer School Module 2 includes:

1. 5 days event
2. practical experience of useful software
3. Company visit and cultural excursion (Day 3)
4. final test for the recognition of 6 training credits ECTS

Poster Contest. PhD students are requested to prepare a Poster about their research project to be presented on Day 1 of Module 1, during poster session. Poster is mandatory for PhD Student and Poster format is A0. Printing services is available at the premises upon agreement with Summer School administration. If you intend to print your poster at the premises, please indicate it in the registration procedure and send it to Summer School secretariat by 2nd September. The three best posters will be awarded during the social dinner.
